We caught up with the Women’s Premier League Match between Larne and Lisnagarvey at Lower Cairncastle Road on Friday evening.
Despite Larne FC being in action at the bottom of the hill there was no doubt that this was the best display of homegrown talent in the town on Friday as they batted hard against second placed Lisnagarvey.
Garvey pushed hard to take the initiative in the first quarter but Q1 ended with Larne leading 1 – 0 after a late strike from Amy Campbell.
The visitors continue to push forward in Q2 and their efforts were rewarded with a goal from Scarlett . . .
