We caught up with the Women’s Premier League match between Ards and Lisnagarvey at Strathearn on Wednesday evening. Ards had the league done and dusted a few weeks ago but Garvey were looking for a win to move into EYHL 2 qualification.
Unfortunately for Garvey, Ards were in the mood to play and they took the lead in the first quarter with a goal from Pippa Best.
Ards increased their lead in the second quarter as Lucy Andrews got the final touch at a pc, her senior debut goal taking the score to 2 – 0 in Ards favour.
