President’s Cup: Banbridge 1 Mossley 2 Final

On Saturday the President’s Cup Final took place at Stormont between Banbridge and Mossley.

Kate Spillane opens the scoring for Mossley

In an all action game, the deadlock was broken in the second quarter when Mossley’s Kate Spillane slid in to deflect the ball past Banbridge’s keeper. Mossley led 1-0 at halftime.

Cassie McCaw score Mossley’s 2nd goal

Some stout defending in the 3rd quarter by Banbridge kept Mossley at bay until Cassie McMaw extended their lead. Banbridge led 2-0 at the end of the 3rd quarter.
