Anderson Cup: Queen’s University 1 (3) South Antrim 1 (2) Quarter Final

On a cold, windy, grey Saturday afternoon Queen’s University hosted South Antrim in an Anderson Cup Quarter Final Tie at The Dub.

The 1st half was scoreless. If South Antrim edged the 1st quarter, then Queens edged the 2nd quarter. Neither side created any clear cut chances.

In the 3rd quarter Queens took the lead through a 35th minute penalty stroke by Ben Law.

Oli Patterson celebrated his equalising goal

South Antrim equalised when Oli Patterson struck from close range on 42 minutes.

The 3rd quarter ended 1-1.

The 4th quarter ended scoreless despite the best efforts of both sets of forwards.
