Lauren’s Express

Wednesday was disappointing losing to the Americans!

They appeared a changed team in comparison to the team we played last week, they were physical, aggressive and played with such pace.

Two key position changes for us, losing Tania at scrum-half and Bros at outhalf (due to injury) left us open to target as they rushed up hard in defence.

Final score: 40 – 3.

Behind the scenes at the 2010 Women’s Rugby World Cup

Our focus is now on Scotland for 7/8 ranking a team we have beat in the past but in this sport you take nothing for granted. We gotta come out all guns firing and play the rugby that we do best, be confident and believe.

Good luck ladies 🙂

Following the game I’ve organised an Irish supporters bus to take all of the fans over to the Stoop to watch what is set to be an epic final New Zealand v England!

Roll on Sunday I say 😉

PS. Huge congrats to Eliza (Lizzie … heehee) for her 2nd start in the green jersey … loving your work buddy xx
