On Saturday evening, Storm Dave caused challenging overhead conditions for the European Challenge Round of 16 Tie between Ulster and Ospreys at Ravenhill. A strong, cold, gusting diagonal wind blew down the pitch, initially in Ospreys favour.
Ulster got the ideal start when Cormac Izuchukwu powered over for Nathan Doak to convert, into the wind, for Ulster to lead 7-0 with barely 3 minutes on the clock.

With the wind advantage Ospreys got on the front foot. Tries by Reuben Morgan-Williams, 8 minutes, and Dan Kasende, 19 minutes, both converted by Dan Edwards gave Ospreys a 14-7 lead.
