Club U16 Bowl: Limavady 7 City of Derry 24

Our second match at Meadowbank on Saturday was the North Coast clash between Limavady and City of Derry in the Club U16 Bowl Final.

Derry opened the scoring, six minutes in, with a try from hooker Harvey Devine for a 0 – 5 lead.

Limavady applied a fair bit of pressure for the next 20 minutes but they were unable to break the motivated Derry defence and a late try from Derry’s Alex Dunn, converted1, gave City of Derry a 0 – 12 lead at half time.

Derry extended their lead at the start of the second half with a try from Thomas Coyle to push the score out to 17 – 0.
