Malone and Queen’s University enjoyed a preseason hit out as part of their preparations for the Ulster Conference of the Community Series.

It was the students who enjoyed the best of this on with new signing Graham Curtis bagging a brace on his debut. Impressive youngster Luke Pollock also crossed for two with Jonny Hunter and Ritchie McMaster also crossing. McMaster converted five of the six tries.
Malone responded with tries from Dave Cave, Dave McMaster and Rory Campbell, Campbell converting two.
Both teams will have found it a useful enough work out as they continue their return to rugby.
