Provincial League: Larne II’s storm to the top of Provincial 5.

Larne II’s returned to the top of Ulster Rugby Provincial League 5 after a six try win against PSNI II’s at the Glynn on Saturday afternoon. 

The Larne tries came from Andrew Gibson, Jordan Burns (2), Colin McKinty, Stevie McReynolds and Ricky McIlheron; Matthew Agnew adding three conversions. 

We popped over to this match at the start of the second half, abandoning our coverage of Ulster Club Rugby. Larne III’s 5 Grosvenor III’s 32 (McCambley Cup) in the search for more light. Larne were defending a 24 – 6 lead at the break but were down a key player due to a serious injury to Colin McKinty at the end of the first half.
