Queen’s University welcomed MU Barnhall to the Dun on Saturday afternoon for the final All Ireland 1B relegation/promotion play off match. Queen’s looking for the win to retain their 1B status with Barnhall hoping to replace them.

It was a closely contested first half hour. Queen’s made their first breakthrough 31 minutes in when Ryan Street went over in the right hand corner for an unconverted try.
