We caught up with the first round of the AIL 1B Promotion/Relegation play offs on Saturday afternoon as Queen’s University hosted Banbridge at the Dub with Queen’s hoping to maintain their 1B status and Banbridge hoping to return after a season in 2A.

Queen’s pretty much took control of the game in the first half with tries from Matthew Millar and Jonny Hunter, both converted by Ben McFarlane, for a 14 – 0 lead in the first 15 minutes.
