We caught up with Queen’s University and Belfast Harlequins in an Ulster Rugby Women’s Premiership match at the Dub on Sunday afternoon.

A strong first half from Queen’s put them well in control of this game. Ellen Patterson opened the scoring with a try, converted by Maebh Clenaghan, to give Queen’s a 7 – 0 lead.

Queen’s University’s Ellen Patterson powers for the line for the opening score.

Tries followed from Lydia Montgomery and a brace from Fern Wilson, either side of an individual effort from Rachael McIlroy. Clenaghan added two more conversions to take the score to 31 – 0 in Queen’s favour at half time.
