We caught up with the Ulster Hockey Club Boys U15 Cup Final between Lisnagarvey and Cookstown at Stormont early on Sunday evening.
Lisnagarvey started strongly and had the better of the first half as they moved the ball about with some authority.
Carter Lunn opened the scoring for Garvey at the end of the first quarter and a strike from Jonno Johnston made it 2 – 0 to Garvey at the start of the second quarter.
It was looking like the Comber Road outfit might run away with this one but a late strike from Cookstown’s Noah Cuddy took the score to 2 – 1 as the teams changed ends.
