We caught up with the Junior Plate Final between Armagh 3XI and CI 3XI at Stormont on Saturday afternoon.

Both teams started with some intent in a lively first quarter. Despite plenty of chances being created the first half ended scoreless.

Emily Currie celebrates her second goal for Armagh

Armagh opened the scoring in the second quarter as Emily Currie got the final touch on a shot Lynn Anderson at a penalty corner scramble.

Currie added a second goal four minutes later but Hannah Monaghan pulled one back for CI just before half time to take the score to 2 – 1 as the teams changed ends.
