We caught up with the McClements Cup Final between Lisnagarvey 3XI and Bangor 3XI on Sunday afternoon at Stormont.
Garvey exerted the early pressure in the first quarter but it was Bangor who took a 0 – 1 lead into the second with a breakaway goal from Felix McMillan.
A strong second quarter from Garvey saw goals from Mark Raphael, Matthew Morris and Ben Aughey in a seven minute burst to take the score to 3 – 1. McMillan kept Bangor in the hunt with his second goal to take the score to 3 – 2 at half time.
Aughey picked up his second goal for Garvey at the start of the second . . .
