We caught up with the Gibson Plate match between Sullivan Upper and Strathearn 3XI’s on Tuesday afternoon at Stormont.
The game ebbed and flowed over the 60 minutes with Sullivan enjoying the best of the first quarter only for Strathearn to have the edge in the second quarter.
However both keepers, Scarlett Wright for Sullivan and Emily Morrow for Strathearn, wer on top form and the game was still at 0 – 0 as the teams changed ends.
Similar to the first half Strathearn had a strong third quarter and Sullivan a good fourth quarter but neither side was able to beat the keeper and the game ended as a 0 – 0 draw.
