On Wednesday afternoon Cookstown High School played Lurgan College in the Stevenson Bowl Final at Lisnagarvey Hockey Club.
The teams had hardly sounded each other out when Annabelle Davoust-McCann reacted quickly to a loose ball in front of goal to give Lurgan a 1-0 lead, after only 2 minutes.
Cookstown regrouped and equalised on 10 minutes from Ellie Costello’s rasping shot from the edge to the circle. The 1st quarter ended 1-1.
