We caught up with the Ulster hockey Women’s Premier League match between Larne and Ards at Larne Grammar on Saturday afternoon.
After a solid start to their Premier League campaign, newly promoted Larne came up against the experienced league leaders Ards and found them too hot to handle at this stage of their journey.

Ards took control in the first quarter with a brace from Irish International Zara Malseed who converted two penalty corners for a 0 – 2 lead.
