Senior 2: Owls 1 Bangor 1

Our second hockey match at Roughfort on Saturday was the Senior 2 clash between Owls and Bangor.

With the Owls battling to get out of the relegation zone this game was a lot more tense and measured than my earlier goal bonanza. In fact there was no score until the final quarter.

The teams battle it out in the first three quarters.

Bangor opened the scoring about 5 minutes into Q4 when Ella Riddle got the final touch on a battle on the Owls line to take the score to 0 – 1.

Ella Riddle opened the scoring for Bangor.
