Women All Ireland: Pegasus 1 Railway Union 5

We caught up with the Women’s All Ireland League match between Pegasus and Railway Union at The Dub on Saturday afternoon.

Railway Union are finishing off the season in fine form and unfortunately it was Pegasus who faced the in form team this Saturday at the Dub.

The visitors started strongly and they picked up a goal in the first quarter when Sarah Hawkshaw converted a penalty corner.

Railway continued to push, with Katie Mullan in fine form, and they added two more goals in Q2 for a 0 – 3 lead at half time. Hawkshaw added her second from a penalty corner before Niamh Gowing netted in open play.
