We caught up with the Superleague reigning champions The Royal School Armagh as they defended their title in the opening round of the Group Stages against Belfast Royal Academy at College Hill.
Quite a few familiar faces here from last season’s coverage and our summer coverage of the Girls Interpro warm up matches however we weren’t expecting to see Katie Herron in action in this one.
The Royal School were pretty much unstoppable in the opening minutes as they rattled in three goals in the first five minutes.
Rihanna Gillespie opened the scoring after 2 minutes before a brace from Herron in minutes four and five took the score to 3 – 0 while BRA were still trying to settle in.
