At Sunday lunchtime Belfast Harlequins Women met Cooke Women 2 in a Deloitte Women’s Junior Cup tie at Deramore Park.
Quins attacked from kick off, pinning Cooke back in their ‘22’. After a series of drives Eva Cafolla got over for an unconverted try to give Quins a 5-0 lead on 4 minutes.
Quins continued to press and it was against the run of play when Annie Timmoney broke from well inside her own half and set off on a solo run to score and level the score at 5 – 5 on 12 minutes.
