AIL1B: Week 14 Preview

It’s a return to action for the teams in the Ulster Bank League this weekend and the Ulster teams in AIL1B are all facing Southern opposition this week.

Match of the weekend must be Buccaneers v Belfast Harlequins, with first placed Quins facing a difficult road trip and the Belfast side will do well to pick up any points in this one. However they may need more than a losing bonus if they are to stay top of the league as Ballymena will be pushing to secure all  five points in their home match against U.L Bohs.

It may be a difficult ask for the Braidnen as U.L. Bohs were one of  the form teams before the break but I suspect that Ballymena will do enough to secure the win, if not the bonus, in a close match.

Ballynahinch should do enough to secure four points away to Bruff and Dungannon, who need to make up a lot of ground on the league leaders, should start their task with a five . . .
