On Saturday at noon, at The Dub an Ulster U21 XI played Game Three of a Three Match Series against English Colleges U21. Ulster had won 4-3 earlier in the morning to tie the Series 1-1. The torrential rain had eased to light rain on a dreich day.
Colleges edged possession and territory and seemed more likely to score as the 1st quarter ended scoreless.
Early in the 2nd quarter Will Pack opened the scoring for Colleges after 21 minutes.
Ben Humphreys doubled the lead from close range on 27 minutes, before Frank Hollway pulled a goal back for Ulster on 33 minutes. Colleges led 2-1 at halftime.
