Early Wednesday afternoon Banbridge Academy faced Royal Belfast Academical Institution in the final of the Ferris Plate at Havelock Park.
In a very even game, both teams were glad of their defences in the first two quarters and reached half time all square, at 0-0.

Soon after the third quarter started, RBAI’s No 7, Noah Burke picked up on a loose ball in the circle & drilled home the only goal of the game. Inst led 1-0 at the end of the 3rd quarter.

Banbridge pressed hard in the 4th quarter but just couldn’t break . . .
