On Wednesday afternoon the postponed annual Lutton Cup game between Methodist College and Friends School was played at Deramore Park.
Friends took the initiative early on pushing Methody back.
A Carter Lunn strike on 5 minutes gave Friends a 1-0 lead. Friends continued to press but as the quarter progressed Methody came into the game.
From a penalty corner Dylan Maxwell struck an equaliser, as the quarter ended 1-1.
Both sides had opportunities in a scoreless 2nd quarter. The half ended 1-1.
