Early Monday afternoon Sullivan Upper U13XI faced Wallace High School U13XI in the Bannister Plate Final at Havelock Park.

There was a lot of sounding out in the 1st quarter with neither team grabbing the initiative. The quarter ended scoreless.

Joshua Patterson opened the scoring

The 2nd quarter was equally as dour before Joshua Patterson gave Wallace a 1-0 lead on 18 minutes, which they held to halftime.

If the opening 2 quarters were subdued the final 2 quarters were a revelation! Both teams cast off caution in an end to end game.
