Presidents Cup: Larne 0 Mossley 4

We caught up with the rejigged President’s Cup match between Larne and Mossley at Lower Cairncastle Road on Saturday afternoon.

Having consolidated a mid table finish in their first season in the Women’s Premiership, Larne possibly struggled to get up for this one as Mossley took control of the game fairly early keeping Larne pinned in their own half.

Lucy Campbell opened the scoring for Mossley seven minutes in from a penalty corner strike and they took a 1 – 0 lead into the second quarter

Mossley picked up a second goal in Q2 with youngster Bonnie Connor-Boyd getting on the score sheet for a 2 – 0 lead at half time.
