We caught up with the Junior Plate Final between The Royal School Armagh and Limavady Grammar School on Thursday afternoon at Stormont.
Thankfully the rain that caused a change of pitch and delay in the start time had passed by the time the game got underway at Stormont.
Limavady started strongly and their high press kept Armagh pinned in their own half for most of the opening quarter. It came as no surprise when they opened the scoring after 11 minutes with a goal from Maggie Burnside for a 0 – 1 lead which they took into the second quarter.

Limavady doubled their lead to 0 – 2 early in the second quarter as Eve Armour converted a penalty stroke and it was starting to look like it would be a long day of Armagh who had barely got out of their own half.
