Early Monday afternoon south Belfast rivals Victoria College and Methodist College met in a 3rd round Junior Cup tie at Newforge Sports Complex.

Methody had most of the territory and possession in a scoreless 1st half but couldn’t turn this into goals. Victoria were dangerous on the break and were able to trouble the Methody keeper.

The 3rd quarter was similar fare. The Victoria defence frustrated the Methody forwards. The 3rd quarter ended 0-0.
