We caught up with the schools friendly between the Royal School Armagh and Ballymena Academy at College Hill on Saturday morning at College Hill.
It wasn’t the classic that I was hoping for as Ballymena used the strong wind at their back to keep Armagh pinned in their own half and rumbled over for four tries, which you can view below.
Jacob Casson opened the scoring for the visitors with Harry Lamont adding a brace either side of a try from Billy Wylie. James McMillan converted three to give Ballymena a 0 – 26 lead at half time.

It didn’t get much better for the home side in the second half as Ballymena continued to control possession in the second half with McMillan calling the shots at out half.
