On Wednesday afternoon, at Lisnagarvey Hockey Club, Glenlola Collegiate faced Lurgan College in the second Semi Final of the Stevenson Bowl.

This game was very tight with nothing between the sides. Neither side could take any of the chances created. As the game progressed the midfield became evermore congested as both teams fought for a breakthrough goal.

As run ins loomed, the deadlock was finally broken in the 47th minute. Lydia Neill’s goal was all that separated the teams at the final whistle giving Lurgan a very hard fought win.
