Women’s Premiership: Queen’s University 13 Enniskillen 15

We caught up with the Women’s Premiership match between Queen’s University and Enniskillen Sunday afternoon at the Dub.

The league hasn’t begun to take shape yet but this game was already being billed as a Premiership decider, though Malone and a juvenated Clogher Valley may have something to say about that.

Unfortunately the game didn’t live up to the billing. While there was plenty of jeopardy, with the result not settled until literally the last kick of the game, there were far too many mistakes and stoppages which saw the game overrun by 20 minutes.

Moya Hill had a strong game for Enniskillen

Queen’s enjoyed the early territory and possession and looked to have scored off a ruck on the Enniskillen line after 10 minutes. The referee was unsighted and by the time they got round the ball was held up and a drop out awarded.
