On Saturday afternoon, Cooke clashed with Bangor in a Championship 1 League game at Shawsbridge. A stiff cold breeze blew diagonally across the pitch initially in Cooke’s favour.
Cooke hit the ground running. Jack Knox opened the scoring on 3 minutes, after a break from midfield. Andy Hanna’s conversion had Cooke 7-0 up.
On 11 minutes Stuart Elwood burrowed his way over through Bangor legs to push Cooke out to 12-0.
