We picked up about 25 minutes of the Representative Friendly between Ulster and Connacht U16 Girls Squads on Saturday afternoon a Enniskillen.
Ulster divided their squad into a Blue and Red teams, each playing a half each against Connacht. We were only able to catch the Blue team in action.

The main action from Ulster was an individual try by Jane Feetham who trailed a break down the centre to sprint clea from the halfway line for the opening score. The conversion was good, giving Ulster a 7 – 0 lead.

However, Connacht were on the front foot for most of the remainder of time that I was there and they crossed for two tries to take a 7 – 12 lead by the time I left to cover the senior Women’s game.

Ulster Reds made a bit of a comeback in the second half but they were just short of overturning Connacht’s first half lead, the game ending as a 19 – 22 win to Connacht.
