Veterans Cup: Lisnagarvey 1 Pegasus 6 Semi Final

We caught up with the Club Hockey Women’s Veterans Cup Semi Final between Lisnagarvey and Pegasus late Wednesday night at Comber Road.

Gillian Hall was amongst the goals for Pegasus in the first quarter.

Pegasus too control of the game from the start keeping Garvey pinned in their own half for most of the first quarter. It took them a while to break down the hard working Garvey defence but three late goals from Alex Speers, Gillian Hall and Rachael Murdock saw Pegs take a 0 – 3 lead into the second quarter.

Alex Speers picked up two goal for Pegasus

Garvey came more into the game in Q2 creating a few chances of their own . . .
