Linden Cup: Mossley 3 Newry Olympic 3 Final

We caught up with the Ulser Hockey Linden Cup Final between mossley and Newry Olympic at Stormont at midday on Sunday.

This was a lively game from start to finish. Newry Olympic took the lead at the end of Q1 with a goal from James McAuley for a 0 – 1 lead.

Mossley hit back at the start of Q2 with Jason Roe getting the final touch on a melle in the Newry circle and the Co Antrim side went 2 – 1 up four minutes later when Neal Glassey burst into the circle to find the net.
