We caught up with most of the Ulster Hockey Schoolboys Ferris Plate Final between Bangor Grammar and Killicomaine Junior High at Havelock Park on Wednesday afternoon.

Apologies, I’ve lost my notes on this one but, from memory, Bangor were quick out of the blocks in this one with an early goal before I got set up.

Bangor celebrate their second goal

Bangor added a second from a penalty corner 10 minutes later for a 2 – 0 lead.

Killicomaine worked hard and enjoyed a period of possession but Bangor added a third just before the break for a 3 – 0 lead at half time.

Bangor push in their third goal at the far post.
