We caught up with the Irish Schools Friendly between Methodist College, Belfast and Blackrock College, Dublin on Saturday morning at Pirrie Park.
The game started at an intense pace, and in the 17th minute it was Blackrock who scored first through inside centre Rory Houlihan. Outhalf Declan Cadden added the extras and gave the visitors a 0 – 7 lead.

This was shortly followed by another try from the visitors, through scrum half Ben Crowley. Cadden failed to add the conversion and no other scores before half time gave the visitors a 0 – 12 lead at the break.
In the second half, a yellow card for Cadden of Blackrock gave Methody a chance to fight back, however Blackrock responded and found a try through winger Connor Mason to move the score along to 0 – 19.

Blackrock flanker Patrick Agnew completed the scoring for the visitors, with Cadden adding the extras.
To complete the game, Methody found a try through blindside flanker Oliver Gartley with Louis
Curran adding the extras to give a full time scoreline of 7 – 22 to Blackrock.
