All Ireland Hockey: Pegasus 0 Pembroke Wanderers 0

I stayed on at The Dub for the lunchtime All-Ireland Hockey clash between Pegasus and Pembroke Wanderers from Dublin.

Though it was a 0-0 draw it was anything but boring. I was very much a game of 2 halves. Pembroke dominated the 1st half trapping Pegasus in their own half for long periods, creating chances but not converting any. But for Megan Todd in the Pegasus goal, Pembroke would have had a comfortable halftime lead.

It was all change in the 2nd half. Now Pegasus were in control. As Pembroke in the 1st half, they created numerous chances but couldn’t convert any.
