I caught up with Victoria College and Wallace High 3rd XI’s for a senior friendly at Newforge on Saturday morning.

It was a highly competitive and entertaining game which was a testament to the depth of talent at these two schools.
Victoria created the early chances but Wallace claimed the opening goal with a strike from Alice Furphy after nine minutes to give Wallace a 0 – 1 lead into the second quarter.
