We caught up with the Medallion Friendly between Dromore High and Down High early Saturday morning at Barban Hill.
In the first half, the visitors ran in six tries by Ruben Watson (2), Patrick Dooley, Freddie Harris, Joe Bailie and Jack Rodgers with Freddie Harris converting four of them.
At half time the score was 38 – 0 in Down’s favour.
It was much the same in the second half with the visitor”s No 8, Matthew Horner crashing over early for an unconverted try.
Dromore rallied to put their own points on the board with No 20, Zac Corbett going over in the corner, unconverted but Down came straight down the pitch and No 6, Jackson Bogle outpaced the defence to run in the visitor’s final score.
