On Sunday morning, following on from the Girls Development 2 Final, was the Girls Development 1 Final between Pegasus and Raphoe, at Stormont.
The game was scoreless at the end of normal time. This might suggest a boring stalemate but it anything but that. Both sides contributed to a very skilful, fast paced game, with no little goalmouth action. Both keepers were on top, smothering chances from forwards not frightened to shoot.
