Linden Cup: PSNI 2 Mossley 4 AR Final

I caught up with the PSNI and Mossley in the Ulster Hockey Linden Cup Final at Stormont Pavilion on Saturday afternoon in another lively game between two well matched sides.

The ball zipped about fairly sharply in this one with no side rally dominating but it was Mossley that took the lead, after 8 minutes, when Ross McIvor slotted the ball home when he found a bit of space in the D.

Ross McIvor opened the scoring for Mossley.

The PSNI couldn’t find a response in Q1 but they pulled the game back to 1 – 1 in Q2 when Ben McMillan picked one out of the air to guide it past the stranded Mossley keeper and that’s how it remained until half time.
