On Saturday, at Stormont, in game two of a triple header on the ‘water based pitch’ Portrush II met Raphoe II in the final of the Men’s Junior 3 League Cup.
It was nip and tuck in a scoreless 1st quarter. Midfield was congested as both teams tried to assert themselves.
The game came alight in the 2nd quarter. Jake McKnight opened the scoring for Raphoe after 19 minutes.
The lead was short lived as Adam Scott equalised for Portrush, a minute later.
