I was pleased to pick up the Ulster Hockey Schoolgirls Junior Plate Final at Stormont on Wednesday afternoon. I’d covered Antrim Grammar in their opening Junior Cup match against Royal School Armagh and It was good to catch them again.
In that game, Antrim Grammar keeper, and captain, Daisy Shirlow had an outstanding game and she had another great game in this one, as she and her hard working defenders kept Antrim in the hunt until the last quarter of an entertaining game.
