City of Armagh welcomed Instonians to the Palace Grounds for a Senior Cup Semi Final on Saturday afternoon. With two strong teams on the pitch, the big crowd were looking forward to a tight contest and they certainly were not disappointed.

The home team started off strongly and pinned Instonians in their own half for the first ten minutes but it was Instonians who opened the scoring when scrum half, Ruairi O’Farrell ran in to the corner for a 0 – 5 lead.

It wasn’t long until the visitors extended the lead as fullback Bradley McNamara burst through the centre to score a try to push the score to 0 – 12 after Ritchie McMaster added the extras.
