Instonians welcomed Wanderers to Shaws Bridge for an AIL 2B clash on Saturday afternoon.
Wanderers took it to the all conquering Instonians side from the off, David Fitzgibbon slotting over a 1st minute penalty to give the visitors a 0 – 3 lead.
Instonians hit back five minutes later with Neil Saulters picking up a try off the back of a lineout maul. Ritchie McMaster added the conversion to take the score to 7- 3
That was it for the first half as the teams battled it out in the middle of the park in a physical encounter.
