On Saturday morning, in front of a large and very partisan crowd, from both schools, Royal Belfast Academical Institution faced east Belfast rivals, Campbell College in a Round of 16 Schools Cup tie.

It was a tentative start from both sides, with defences holding firm, as both packs ran at each other. Henry Ralston opened the scoring for Campbell with an early 6th minute penalty goal, for a 3-0 lead.
