Regent House and Dromore High defied the freezing weather on Saturday morning to complete their Medallion Shield fixture in Newtownards.
Regent took control of the game with two tries in a five minute first quarter burst. Full back Marcus Allen crossed for the first to be quickly followed by Treshon James for the second. Zach McMinn converted the latter to give Regent a 12 – 0 lead.
James added a second to take the score to 17 – 0 before Dromore responded with Alfie Clark going over for a converted try to pull it back to 17 – 7.
